My shop on Etsy

Oct 21, 03:00 PM

A lot of the reason I am writing this blog is provide further background information about the art that I sell in my Etsy shop. If you don’t know about Etsy yet, it’s a really amazing website where crafters of all kinds can sell their art: knitters, photographers, calligraphers, jewelry-makers… It’s amazing the variety of stuff that you can find on Etsy, and the incredible creativity of Etsy’s crafters.

So if you’ve found this blog, I encourage you to wander over to Etsy. Take a look at my shop, of course, but please browse the other amazing artists you will find there!

I am getting back into calligraphy after a hiatus of a few years. I was just too busy with graduate school to do much of it for a while, and then we moved from New York City to Seattle, Washington. Getting settled in Seattle has kept me awfully busy, but now that I’m here, I’m realizing that I have lots of latent creativity that is anxious to be let out again. So I’m starting to do calligraphy again, and I’m really happy to be getting back to creating. My shop on Etsy is quite new, and I don’t have many products listed yet, but I’ve already had two sales, and I’m looking forward to working with lots of customers again!
